Ideas for filling holes in my portfolio in the Spring

I've been thinking of shoots I would like to do when the weather is nice again. I have some empty spots in my portfolio and would love to fill them this Spring/Summer.
One of the top shoots I would like to do is a hospital shoot after a baby is born. Those are photos I wish I had more of personally, and not cellphone shots either. All that love and excitement in one room is something I have wanted to capture for some time.
There are many cool shoots I haven't done yet. I am very happy with the family/children shoots I always do, but doing some different ones would expand my portfolio greatly.
So as I think of them I will post what I am looking for, and I also encourage you to contact me if there is something different that you don't see in my albums on Facebook/Website. If it is a shoot that I am interested in and you want to have it done, that would mean a free shoot for you :) Now when I say different I mean something like Trash-The-Dress, where you have pictures done in your wedding gown (After your wedding of course) in different locations, swimming, painting, cutting it, ect... The possibilities for that could go on and on. I also lack boudoir shoots, I'm not talking nude or trashy, classy shoots for your significant other or even just for yourself. There is plenty of different shoots I don't currently have and would love to fill them before the end of the summer.
On a side-note, I am not a professional, but I can do hair and makeup for these shoots, I did the hair and makeup for the 5 year anniversary shoot and the Micaela shoot in my albums. I can help with that if you want to have that done for you too :)

Some of my favorites from the Christmas Mini-shoots

So I had the pleasure of doing a few days of Christmas Mini-Shoots in NJ and PA. I met some amazing families and I hope some will come out for Easter Mini's as well :) I wanted to post a few photos that I really personally love.

These are 2 of my absolute favorites! The way she looked at Santa and the way she hung on really made the pictures capture the essence of Christmas. Thinking back I can remember feeling the way she looks in the pictures. This is exactly what I was looking for when I decided to try this out. They came out a lot better than I even hoped. And her gorgeous hair was a bonus :)

Christmas is not only for kids, adults are just as excited for it. With that in mind, couples and holidays make for some super cute shots, especially when they are this good looking ;)

I enjoy taking pictures and seeing the love a couple has, especially around the holidays :)

The love of a mother is indescribable, as a mother I know, but this photo was the best way to show it, them being so cute in the process was just a bonus!

I always love a good sibling picture, but when they have the cutest sweaters on and are as handsome as these two, it makes me love it even more! Their mom Kristy is not only a great stylist but also an awesome hairdresser....<3 it!

A great photo, in my opinion, should always show love and devotion. I think the best way to see that would be to have your family pet in the picture. Not only are they devoted but the love of a child and their animal is unbreakable...can you say Best Friends!!! This is by far my favorite animal picture so far!! This little beauty has nothing to fear with that gorgeous protector by her side!!! I'm in love with this photo <3

This is just a tiny, tiny, tiny peak at my holiday shoots, but these are some of my personal favorites and proof of why I love doing this :)

A little Christmas Gift for Me

I am new to the "blogging" world so please bare with me while I learn :) So with Christmas now over, I have to go back and highlight some of my favorite shoots. I want to point out a family shoot I did where the mother was kind enough to give me a hat that her son was wearing. As I was shooting him in this adorable Santa hat I couldn't stop gushing about how cute he was in it and how much I loved it. I asked her where she got it and she told me at Old Navy, and it was super cheap on clearance. I couldn't believe how good of a deal she got and said I wished I had run into to something like that, I would have bought one in every size for next years props. So finally when the shoot ended, she handed me the hat and said I could keep it, that she had tons of other hats and he would never wear it again. I was in shock and told her she didn't have to do that. Being the nice person that she is she insisted and I graciously accepted being I loved it so much. Her kindness will not be forgotten by me, and I can't wait to reuse it next year :) Thank you again Dana!!

Isn't he just the cutest thing in that hat??? This is one of my favorite pictures!
Well everyone this year is almost officially over and I'd like to take a second out to thank everyone for the great shoots I had in 2012! It was an amazing start to my career and all of the people I met were amazing. I have made some awesome friends from this wonderful part time gig and once I finally move up to Coaldale I will be trying to do this on a more full-time basis. I'm hoping to have some new awesome ideas for 2013 and expanding my portfolio. Keep an eye out for future statuses when I will be looking to fill some gaps I have, which will mean free shoots for some ;) Again thank you so much for making my business life so fun and I look forward to much more in 2013! Have a Happy New Year All and be safe and healthy :)
